About time too…
Too damn busy to blog.
Given that complexity and change are the only constant in my life… I’ve decided to switch from declaring my plans to reporting what’s happened. My last declared plan was for a move to London to start on a new venture, but what actually happened was a move back to California.
Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose: I’m back in the San Francisco Bay Area, working for a startup, pushing a huge boulder up a hill while simultaneously trying to boil an ocean. Last time it was Netscape and LDAP, this time it’s Sxip and SXIP. Sxip’s a Vancouver based company that is developing an internet protocol, SXIP, to enable ‘user-centric digital identity exchange’.
My last blog post (of a professional nature) was made four years ago, and was on the topic of digital identity. It’s an editorial I wrote for Overload magazine, and, even if I do say so myself, really was rather spot on with respect to where we’re at today. Shame it took four years to get here really. The article follows this post.
